Participants enjoyed the challenge and the fun of the Run2Educate Color Run at Buena Vista Seventh-day Adventist School on Sunday.

Colors were dispersed before, during and after the non-competitive 2.5-mile race, a benefit for the school. Participants covered a grass, dirt and concrete course, with three color-throwing stations.

A kids’ obstacle course, a breakfast and awards were part of the day

Organizers said the R2E exists to bring the school and surrounding community together to promote healthy behaviors. Funds raised directly benefit the education of children at Buena Vista through avenues such as technology, classroom enhancement and school safety.
