The Auburn Reporter – on behalf of the Valley Regional Fire Authority and Auburn Police – presents a $500 donation to Battlefield Addiction at a recent Rotary Club gathering. Proceeds from the Reporter’s Support First Responders page it publishes each year went to Battlefield Addiction, an organization that helps people deal with addictions. It also operates Battlefield Coffee House, at 129 A St., Auburn, that supports the mission.

At the ceremony are, from left: Auburn Police Chief William Pierson; Ryan Van Quill, executive director of Battlefield Addiction; Eric Robertson, VRFA administrator; Angie Keaty, co-founder of Battlefield Addiction; and Carol Greiling, general manager of the Auburn Reporter.
