When students visit Mary Olson Farm, they are transported to days of subsistence farming.

When students visit Mary Olson Farm, they are transported to days of subsistence farming.

Historic and educational Mary Olson Farm provides free field trips to more than 2,300 students each year.

Every $5 donation covers the cost for a child’s participation to Auburn’s historic farm. Students on field trips learn about the days of subsistence farming – when everyone knew how to make what they needed.

The barn, farmhouse, weaving house, orchard, stream, forests and meadows are ideal locations for hands-on history and science learning. Livestock ambassadors Libby, the Jersey dairy cow, and two mini donkeys Pip and Stinger just love to greet kids.

Donate today and give a child lifelong memories and learning. Donations are tax deductible. Checks are gladly accepted, made out to: White River Valley Historical Society, 918 H St. SE, Auburn, WA 98002, or call 253-288-7433, or visit wrvmuseum.org.
