Western’s House earns GNAC Track Athlete of the Week honors

Western Washington University hurdler Molly House has been named Great Northwest Athletic Conference Track Athlete of the Week.

House, a sophomore out of Auburn Mountainview High School, earned the weekly conference honor after winning the 400-meter hurdles with a personal-best time of 1 minutes, 6.03 seconds at the Pacific Lutheran University Open on Saturday in Tacoma.

House’s time tops the GNAC this season and is 17th best in NCAA Division II.

House also set a PR in the 100 hurdles, finishing third in 16.28, sixth best in the GNAC.
