New school, new year

Wednesday morning was back to school for most of the Auburn School District’s projected 17,200 students, among them these sixth-graders breaking in the new Olympic Middle School.
Greeting them with a handshake and a “glad you’re here,” is Kim Strobel, who has taught at Olympic for 25 years.
Kindergarten classes begin throughout the district next Monday.
