Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Dec. 10 and 14:
Dec. 10
Recovered stolen property: 10:50 a.m., 20 Auburn Way S. Police recovered a firearm that had gone bye-bye in 2016.
Commercial forced entry: 1:39 p.m., 2840 R St. SE. A burglar or burglars broke into an Auburn Parks building and helped him-, her- or themselves to mountain bikes, bicycle tools and other stuff.
Assault: 6:22 p.m., 1100 block of 17th Street Southeast. A woman’s ex-boyfriend beat up on her.
Vandalism: 11:17 p.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. Police arrested a woman who’d physically vented her frustrations and angst on a hapless slot machine at the Muckleshoot Casino.
Prowling: Overnight, 900 block of 31st Street Northeast. The grinch who pilfered a woman’s car took a change jar and, well, everything else, leaving behind only a few lipstick cases.
Dec. 11
Harassment: 10 a.m., 3700 block of H Street Northeast. Some guy threatened a woman.
Shoplifting: 7:18 p.m., 790 Auburn Way N. Some guy stole two bottles of bodacious, fermented refreshment from a business.
Dec. 12
Found property: 12:27 p.m., 1487 22nd St. NE. Somebody found a pistol barrel in the Green River.
Shoplifting: 11:45 a.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. Staff at the Tommy Hilfiger outlet store called police to complain about a theft of winter jackets earlier that day.
Dec. 14
U-theft: Overnight, 0 block of 16th Street Northwest. Somebody stole a four-wheel, U-Haul trailer from the parking lot of a local storage business.
