Dick Donald Milks, 95, of Auburn, Washington, passed peacefully on March 18, 2026, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War era, Dick served as a rifleman and medic with the 4th Infantry Regiment at Ladd Field, Alaska, earning the rank of Private First Class.
After his discharge in 1953, Dick built a distinguished five-decade career as a journeyman mason. He relocated to Auburn in 1986, where his brickwork and stonework remain visible throughout the region. He was known for his precision, patience, and uncompromising standards.
Dick is survived by four children (Melissa, Jennifer, Loni, and Ron), three grandchildren (Kiel, Tyler, and Tommy), and four great-grandchildren.
