Joann Judith Holz passed away on May 19, 2026, at the age of 73.
Born on September 7, 1952, to Leona and Vernon Holz, Joann spent much of her life in the Auburn, Washington area. She is survived by her brother, Ronald Holz, and his wife, Diana; her grandchildren, Alyssa Armstrong Chapin, Bradley Armstrong, and Joey Sandford; her aunt, Jean Blakeway; and several nieces and nephews.
Joann was preceded in death by her parents, Leona and Vernon Holz; her brothers, Dallas Lindsey and Gary L. Holz, who was killed in action in Vietnam in 1967; her daughter, Michelle Jones; and her granddaughter, Dayra Castro.
Though her life was marked by many challenges, Joann remained a part of the lives and memories of those who knew her. Her family finds comfort in the enduring bonds of family and in the hope that she has now found the peace and rest that eluded her during her lifetime.
She will be remembered with compassion, and her memory will remain a part of the story of the family who loved her.
