WSDOT plans SR 18 lane closures near Maple Valley Aug. 15-16

The Washington State Department of Transportation will be closing lanes during the day on State Route 18 this weekend near Maple Valley.
WSDOT announced the left lane of eastbound SR 18 will be closed east of SR 169 from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15. On Sunday, Aug. 16, the left lane of westbound SR 18 will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the same area.
The closure is due to maintenance crews repairing guardrails in the area.
“People traveling in the area should plan for delays, use caution and do their part to keep the road crew safe by slowing down and removing distractions,” according to a WSDOT press release.
