Smith Brothers Farms has joined the Auburn Food Bank on “Milk Money” – a coin-collecting drive that will help the food bank purchase needed items such as milk and eggs that are not donated during food drives.

Customers in Auburn will receive a special pint-sized container to collect coins. When the “Milk Money” carton is full, just drop it by the food bank, 930 18th Place NE, between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, or call the food bank at 253-833-8925 to arrange a pickup.

Smith Brothers Farms is a family business, delivering milk to doorsteps in the region since 1920.

In 2013, the food bank provided essential foods to 38,356 families in Auburn.
