Auburn Mountainview fell to Mount Rainier, 6-5, in extra innings, earning the No. 2 seed in the district baseball tournament, which began this past Tuesday.

On Tuesday, the team was defeated by SPSL 3A foe Franklin Pierce 7-2.

Auburn Mountainview tried to keep its state tourney dreams alive this past Wednesday, with a loser-out contest against Prairie.
