Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Aug. 31 and Sept. 5:

Aug. 31

Theft: Overnight, 20 42nd St. NW. Somebody stole fom Accel Plastics an undisclosed number of plastic totes.

More theft: 6:40 p.m., 700 block of 4th Street Southeast. Somebody stole tools of undisclosed type and value from a backyard shed.

Sept. 1

Theft from vehicle: 3:40 p.m., 55 West Valley Highway N. A person without shame stole a briefcase from a vehicle parked at Yahn & Son Funeral Home.

Shoplifting: 3:20 p.m., 1519 Auburn Way S. Police busted a guy for shoplifting from Goodwill.

Vandalism: 7:32 p.m., 1301 31st St. SE. While the children a man and his ex-girlfriend had in common were in the room and their little eyes were watching, this dude punched multiple holes in the walls and doors of her apartment and ran away.

Sept. 2

Strong arm street robbery: 1 p.m., 101 Auburn Way S. Somebody robbed someone else of something near Safeway, in broad daylight.

Theft: 1:40 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. Somebody stole an undisclosed quantity of coins and cash from two vending machines.

Sept. 5

Theft of weapon: 5:09 p.m., 2901 Auburn Way S. The owner of a firearm discovered that somebody had stolen it sometime during the month of July.
