Valley Regional Fire Authority firefighters quickly extinguished a fire at an unoccupied commercial warehouse in Pacific just after midnight Thursday.

Freighters responded to the 200 block of Frontage Road North at 12:06 a.m. for a report of smoke and flames visible from the rear of a large one-story commercial warehouse. Initial radio reports indicated that the fire was spreading up an exterior wall toward the roof.

Firefighters found and doused an exterior fire on the rear of the warehouse.

There were no injuries to firefighters or civilians.

The fire is under investigation.
