Bitner Wilson rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries, but it was not enough as Auburn Mountainview suffered a 28-27 loss last Friday in a North Puget Sound League 4A Olympic Division contest at Enumclaw.

The Lions (5-4 overall, 5-2 Olympic) struggled to contain the Hornets’ running game. Enumclaw (5-4, 4-3) finished with 176 yards and three touchdowns on 40 carries.

Despite the setback, Auburn Mountainview qualified for the playoffs. The team hosts Bothell at 7 p.m. Friday at Auburn Memorial Stadium.
