The Valley Regional Fire Authority responded to 201 calls for service between Nov. 2 and 8, among them the following:

Nov. 2

Aid call: 3:11 p.m., (Pacific). Firefighters and King County Medics completed their evaluation of a young boy who was having an asthma attack, and medics transported him to an area hospital.

Nov. 3

Aid call: 12:30 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters treated a woman who was suffering from non-cardiac chest pain, and a private ambulance transported her in stable condition to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC).

Nov. 4

Aid call: 1 p.m., (Algona). Firefighters treated a man in seizure, and a private ambulance transported him to MAMC.

Nov. 5

Aid call: 6:25 p.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters helped a woman who was complaining of an anxiety attack, and a private ambulance transported her to MAMC.

Nov. 6

Aid call: 6:45 p.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters and King County Medics evaluated and treated an older man with low blood sugar, and then left him with family.

Nov. 7

Aid call: 9:15 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters and King County Medics evaluated a young woman who had overdosed, and a private ambulance transported her to MAMC.

Nov. 8

Garage Fire: 6:50 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters responded to the 1200 block of Pike Street Northeast for a report of smoke and flames coming from a large, two-car, detached garage. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and checked for extension into the attic space. There was significant damage to the structure and its contents. There were no injuries to firefighters or civilians. Fire investigators worked to determine the cause and origin of the fire.
