Martin E. Hertlein passed away peacefully on January 25, 2015, at the age of 56, after a very courageous battle with leukemia.
A graduate of Auburn High School, Marty married the love of his life and started a family in Bonney Lake. In 2005, he and his wife moved to Puyallup where he spent his free time working in his beloved garage, traveling with his family, and enjoying life with his dogs. Marty worked in the printing industry for over 30 years, coached and played many sports, and enjoyed the outdoors. He was also an avid Seahawks fan.
Marty is survived by his wife Peggy, daughters Lacey Hertlein of Tacoma, and Kimberly Brock of Burien, their spouses, and four grandchildren, Phoenix, Quentin, Ilyana, and Jameson. He is also survived by his siblings Forest Hertlein, Daniel Hertlein, and Bonnie Hertlein-Swetman.
Services will be held on February 13, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Sumner Middle School in Sumner, Washington.
