Michael Richards Stocks

Michael Richards Stocks (born February 24, 1954) passed away at age 60 on Sunday (September 14, 2014) in Spokane; his son, Taylor, brother Bill, & nephew Ryan were by his side. He is survived by twin daughters – Tianna & Nicole, his son Taylor, & 3 brothers: Bill (Spokane), Dave (Lake Arrowhead, CA), and John (Auburn).

Mike grew up in Olympia, WA, graduating from Olympia High School in 1972. He excelled on the piano and sang in “The Madrigals.” He won many DJ competitions (“spin-offs”) and was a pioneer in the record spinning industry in CA. He traveled the world as a result of his awards & talents.

Mike was funny and always had a story to tell. He highly praised others and had a special place in his heart for all animals. Mike also had a special place in his blues-lovin’ soul for all music.
