Connie Epperson

Connie Epperson passed away on Dec. 19, at 3:00 pm. She died from natural causes, resting peacefully in her bed. She was born on March 3, 1925 in Fertile, Minnesota. She graduated from Fertile-Beltrami High School in 1943. She moved to Seattle and met Dan Epperson. They married on February 5, 1950. They had two sons, Steve Epperson and Curt Epperson
Connie was baptized and confirmed in the Varnes Lutheran Church in Fertile, Minnesota. Connie was an active member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Auburn, Washington, and many other community groups.
Connie loved sewing, needle-craft, cooking, playing bridge, entertaining at home, and traveling. She visited the Soviet Union, Mexico, Greece, Turkey, France, England, Norway, and other European countries. She took ocean cruises, including a trip to Chile and then Argentina via Cape Horn. She also enjoyed annual sailing trips to the San Juan Islands and Gulf Islands with her son Curt and his wife Mary.
Connie is survived by her brother, Howard Berg, her sister Olga Ofstedal, her son Steve and his wife Karen, their children Jeffrey (Jeff) and Katrina (Katie), and her son Curt and his wife Mary.
