Frances Hoyt Lust
Frances Hoyt Lust passed away on June 14, 2015 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s and cancer during which time she was cared for by her daughter Betty (Anita) Hoyt-Bajoraitis.
Frances was born in Seattle in 1921 to Roy and Anna Moceri, immigrants from Campobello di Mazara, Sicily. A long-life resident of Auburn, she was an active member of the business community, helped estabilish the Auburn Chamber of Commerce and volunteered many hours at the Auburn Police Dept. and the Rhododendron Species Foundation. She was a caregiver to many family members including her mother who lived with her until she died at the age of 100 years.
Frances had five siblings, three husbands, two daughters, one grandson and one great-granddaughter. She will be buried with her brother at Mt. View Cemetery in a private service.
Her daughter would like to give special thanks to all those who provided care for her mother and the many people who expressed concern for her in her final days. Condolences may be sent to her daughter at 1415 22nd St SE, Auburn 98002.
