Jo Ann was born July 6, 1934, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to H. Alfred and Hassel Kesterson. She graduated from Prosser High School in 1953, and from X-ray technician studies at Columbus Ohio in 1958, being the same year she married Warren Nott.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren, two sons, Brian and Stuart Nott, and sister, Joy Pierpont. Jo Ann is survived by her brother, Gerald “Buz” Kesterson; nephew, Earl “Buster” Pierpont III; and grandnephew and grandnieces, Earl “Bo” Pierpont IV, Tanya Pierpont, and Heather Pierpont; and friend, Irene Roline. Also surviving Jo Ann are her sister-in-law Vivian Cadwallader and nephew-in-law Steven Cadwallader.
Burial will be at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA. At the request of Jo Ann there will be no graveside or other services. Burial arrangements are by Klontz Funeral Home. Remembrances in lieu of flowers to Seattle Children’s Hospital Foundation for the benefit of Seattle Children’s Healthcare System.
