King County Green Schools Program recognizes Auburn schools | Briefs

The King County Green Schools Program has recognized several Auburn schools for resource conservation.
A record number of 89 schools were recognized as King County Green Schools, with more than 300 K-12 schools throughout the county have benefited from the program.
Ilalko, Lakeland Hills and Lea Hill elementary school were recognized as Sustaining Green Schools for maintaining Level One, Two and Three practices, and completing an additional conservation action or educational strategy.
Alpac Elementary was recognized as a Level Three Green School for maintaining its Level One and Two practices, and engaging students and employees in water conservation and pollution prevention actions.
Valley Christian School was honored as a Level One Green School for initiating or improving waste reduction and recycling practices.
