The Auburn Mountainview girls swim team, coached by Corey Smith and Jenni Pritchard, achieved the best finish in school history at the Nov. 15-16 state Class 4A state championships at the King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way.

The team set four school records during the state meet.

Emily Ward set two records while placing fourth in the 100-yard freestyle and fifth in the 200 individual medley.

Jade Le set a school record along with the 200 free relay team, consisting of Mairead Quigley, Kiyomi Harris, Le and Ward. Quigley, Harris, Le, Ward and Leah Downing have set 10 school records among them this season.
