Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Jan. 22 and Jan. 27:

Jan. 22

Misdemeanor vandalism: 2:30 p.m., 2500 block of F Street Southeast. Someone in a group of kids broke a window to a garage that did not belong to them.

Stealing shades: 5:50 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. Some guy stole a pair of sunglasses from a store inside the Outlet Collection Mall.

Jan. 23

Commercial burglary. 12:15 a.m., 8 16th St. NW. Someone damaged a storage unit, apparently to get inside and do a bit of thievery.

Misdemeanor vandalism: Overnight, 32100 block of 105th Place Southeast. Someone took advantage of darkness to damage someone else’s tires in an unspecified way.

Assault: 1:24 p.m., 900 block of Auburn Way South. Two females got into an argument and started throwing punches around.

Counterfeiting: 5 p.m., 4010 A St. SE. A senior citizen passed counterfeit money at a local store, and did not stick around to explain himself.

Jan. 24

Found property: 12:20 p.m., 1412 I St. NE. Somebody found a circular saw, sitting all by its lonesome.

Jan. 25

Shoplifting: 4 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. Eddie Bauer store security caught some guy filching jackets. The items were recovered and returned.

Theft from motor vehicle: Overnight, 900 29th St. SE. Someone cut a battery out of someone else’s vehicle without their permission, then absconded with it and the radiator cap.

Jan. 26

Misdemeanor vandalism: 10:29 a.m., 4018 A St. SE. An employee reported damage to the business that employed them.

Felony vandalism: 4:37 a.m., 2802 Auburn Way S. Someone damaged a fuel station at a Shell station.

Assault: 4:31 po.m., 30800 block of 124th Avenue Southeast. Police arrested a female person for assaulting her mother, with a bit of misdemeanor vandalism thrown in.

Assault: 10:48 p.m., 3400 block of C Court Southeast. A man allegedly assaulted his wife in front of his 2-year-old kid.

Jan. 27

Residential burglary: 12 p.m., 6600 block of Elizabeth Avenue Southeast. A woman reported that her wallet and watch had been taken from her unlocked house while she was walking her dog.

Misdemeanor vandalism: 4:45 p.m., 4400 block of Auburn Way North. A road-rage incident boiled over into some unspecified act of vandalism.

Shoplifting: 8:22 p.m., 406 Lake Tapps Parkway SE. Police busted a guy for shoplifting baby formula from Haggens.
