Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between June 12 and 21:
June 12
Weapons offense: 1:32 p.m., 100 block of D Street Northeast. After police detained a kid who’d made threats with an undisclosed weapon, they released him to his parents.
Theft: Overnight, 200 block of 12th Street Southeast. Someone stole six sets of deer antlers and a bicycle that had been outside of a man’s home.
Theft: 8:50 p.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. Somebody stole property from the back of a man’s truck while it was parked at the Muckleshoot Casino.
June 13
Theft of vehicle parts: 12:08 p.m., 4510 Frontage Road. A resident reported the theft of gas caps from semi trucks days earlier.
Robbery with threat of knife: 11:02 a.m., 700 M St. NE. First a girl stole a woman’s purse, then she threatened her victim by saying she had a knife.
June 14
Fraud: 11:59 p.m., 3702 Auburn Way S. A dishonest person used a bogus bill to buy real foodstuffs from Dominos.
June 15
Attempted van theft: 6:45 a.m., 1800 block of A Street Southeast. Someone tried to steal a box van over the weekend.
June 16
Vandalism: 3:07 a.m., 252 E. Main St. Somebody saw and reported a female breaking windows and other items in downtown Auburn.
Vandalism: 9 a.m., 959 E. Main St. Arriving at work, the owners of Athens Pizza and Spaghetti House found a broken window.
Theft: 4:42 p.m., 5110 Frontage Road. Police busted a man for thieving scrap metal of undisclosed value from a U-Haul location.
Theft: 2:26 p.m., 1200 block of M Street Southeast. Police busted a man for stealing a wagon that had been gifted to a family.
June 17
Shoplifting: 1:30 p.m., 1057 Outlet Collection Way SW. Security caught a kid stealing clothing from a department store.
June 21
Theft: 2:15 p.m., 762 Outlet Collection Drive SW. Store security caught and police busted a shoplifting duo practicing their objectionable avocation at Walmart’s expense.
Assault with a knife: 11:34 p.m., 6260 Terrace View Lane. Police busted a man for felony assault.
