SR 164, SR 18 around Auburn closed next week

Multiple highways will be closed by the Washington State Department of Transportation this week, including SR 164 and SR 18.

On SR 18, daytime lane closures between mileposts 7 and 8 east of Auburn are planned on eastbound and westbound April 17 – 19 for ongoing geotechnical and sampling work for an upcoming construction project:

• From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, April 17, the eastbound left lane will be closed.

• From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, April 18-19, the westbound right lane will be closed.

On SR 164, Auburn Way will be reduced to a single lane in each direction from 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, to 5 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, between R Street Southeast and Riverwalk Drive Southeast near the Muckleshoot Casino.
