Report: Auburn home sales down, prices up in July

Homes sales in Auburn were down 8.6 percent but home prices rose 8.8 percent in July compared to the same month last year.
A total of 128 homes were sold at a median price of $272,000, according to numbers compiled by Redfin, a Seattle-based real estate company.
The numbers only reflect transactions on the Multiple Listing Service, a local or regional database of available real estate for sale by member brokers.
Auburn homes spent an average of 21 days on the market in July.
