17-year-old shot on Metro bus

A 17-year-old was shot on a Metro bus, and officers are now looking for a suspect.
According to the Auburn Police Department (APD), at approximately 9:30 p.m. May 21, near 29th Street Southeast and M Street Southeast, officers responded to an injury shooting. Early investigation indicated that the shooting occurred on a Metro bus traveling through the area.
“The victim, a 17-year-old male, was located with at least one gunshot wound,” Auburn police stated. “He was reported to be in stable condition and was speaking with officers prior to being transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.”
According to APD, a K-9 track was initiated to search for the suspect. The investigation remains active.
