Dealing with a disgusting cable crisis

I’m writing this letter because I am so very disgusted with Comcast Cable, and everyone in the state of Washington should be disgusted with that company also.

Do the state officials even know what they are doing? They are gouging us citizens so badly that it’s a crime. Since when should we have to pay for television anyway? What has happened to the values of the big business owners?

I have been paying $158.70 for basic cable and “On Demand” for some time, which is plenty high.

I got my bill on Saturday and it had gone up to $196.48. That’s almost $40. That’s a pretty big hunk of change and times that by the thousands of customers. If I’m paying for their so called “Xfinity,” I didn’t order it. The company made changes and didn’t ask me if I wanted it.

My husband and I are retired, meaning we’re on fixed incomes. He’s sick and has a lot of medical bills and TV is our only entertainment. We can’t afford close to $200 a month for cable.

I’m outraged and everyone in Auburn should be outraged. I, for one, am checking into an alternate service.
