This One’s For You

(Judy Larson Sept. 24, 1942-Sept. 5, 2014)

The vine of life is missing
one more precious flower.

As those who knew her know
Judy was a special blossom
blooming in several shades of rose.

Even though through much of her life
she was in ill health her creative spirit
and serving attitude were enough
to warm your heart.

Attributes held over from the job
she loved, the Algona Pacific librarian.

Many times she encouraged
my poor attempts at becoming a poet
and became one of my favorite fans.

Look over my shoulder Judy
this one’s for you.
