Trillium Employment Services received another three-year accreditation from CARF, an independent, international accrediting body of vocational rehabilitation providers.
To receive the achievement, Trillium had put itself through a rigorous peer-review process. CARF accreditation represents the highest rank that can be awarded to an organization and signals Trillium’s commitment to continually improving services and serving the community.
Trillium demonstrated to a team of surveyors during a multi-day, on-site visit, its commitment to offering services that are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality. The surveyors interviewed key stakeholders such as clients, employers and funders, and in their report noted several distinguishing strengths such as:
“Trillium is a respected organization in the community; has an excellent, positive image and reputation in its service delivery area; and is a valued member of the community, evidenced by stakeholder feedback.”
“The persons served are very satisfied with the quality, flexibility, and consistency of services provided to them. They consistently speak of the importance of their jobs in their lives and the importance of Trillium in making that possible.”
“The organization is well respected by employers for the quality and professionalism … Employers clearly note that the staff members are responsive to their needs and function as an effective and valued partner. “
More than 200 businesses and 430 individuals with disabilities benefit from Trillium’s recruiting and job training services. Trillium, which started in Auburn 30 years ago, serves King, Pierce, Kitsap and Clark counties. Trillium values the CARF accreditation as a confirmation that it sustained quality services and innovative practices during its substantial growth since 2010. Achieving the rigorous accreditation demonstrates that Trillium is utilizing best practices and quality improvement in its business and service delivery.
