Four Auburn Riverside student-athletes sign letters of intent

Four Auburn Riverside seniors formalized their college intentions on Wednesday, signing letters of intent to continue their athletic careers at the next level.

Four Auburn Riverside seniors formalized their college intentions on Wednesday, signing letters of intent to continue their athletic careers at the next level.

• Brandi Williams signed her letter of intent to Boise State. Williams is a two-time state 4A long jump champion. As a junior in 2012 she also finished second in the state in the 100 meters and third in the 200 meters.

•  Joe Miles will attend and play football next fall at Eastern Washington University. The 6-foot-5, 270-pound lineman anchored Auburn Riverside’s offense and defense and was selected to the All-South Puget Sound League North 4A first-team offense and second-team defense. Miles was a co-captain.

• Michael Robinson will play football for Division III Washington and Lee University in Virginia. The 6-3, 170-pound Robinson played wide receiver and defensive back for the Ravens and was a team co-captain.

• Chris Minteer signed his letter of intent to play baseball for College of the Holy Cross in Maryland. Minteer, a first baseman/outfielder, was an All-SPSL North 4A honorable mention performer last season. Minteer hit .211 with 16 RBIs and a home run for the Ravens last year.
