    Editor’s note: Phil Fortunato and Lane Walthers are seeking the 31st District State House Position No. 2 seat, which is an open position. The two candidates recently participated in a three-part debate that is being published in the Auburn Reporter. This is part three of the State House debate. Part one was published in the Oct. 5 edition of the Reporter, part two was published in the Oct. 12 edition, and both can be found online at auburn-reporter.com. The general election is Nov. 8.

    Auburn Riverside senior Nolan Cull wrapped up his prep golf career with a 22nd-place finish at this past week’s Washington State 4A Boys Golf Championships at Camas Meadows Golf Club in Camas.

    Cull shot a first-round 78 and a second-round 49 to finish with a 157 total.

    In the boys 3A competition at Tri-Mountain Golf Course in Richland, Auburn Mountainview’s Zac Wildin finished tied for 34th with a 166-stroke performance.
