Backing baristas

I am amazed at all the fuss over the Cowgirl coffee establishment. There is no shame in being a barista, no matter what you’re wearing. I’m sure if the dress code bothered them, they would find work elsewhere. Calling what they do degrading and refusing to call them baristas is degrading and insulting to these hardworking women.

It also floors me that someone complained about the possibility that an adolescent male might see some skin. Evidently adolescent males never go to the beach, or the pool, or the park, or the mall, or watch TV, or …

Considering all the REAL problems this nation faces (unemployment, the economy, environmental issues, just to name a few), having young women in bikinis serving coffee instead of sitting in a welfare or unemployment line seems a bit petty.
