Lawmakers or rule breakers?

We are a nation of laws. The politicians make the laws. The courts and police enforce the laws.

You can get a ticket for going over the speed limit. You can go to jail for stealing. So why is it OK to sell pot, which is against a federal law? Why do the courts, police and lawmakers refuse to enforce the mitigating laws?

Is it OK for me to break the laws like the courts, and lawmakers do?
