I received my voter ballot and see Proposition 1 (for the arts) wants us to vote for a tax that adds another $30 a year for an average household. What is an average household? It doesn’t say.

Remember, the wording for the Sound Transit tax increase? Look what that ended up costing us. Soon we will be taxed out of our homes.

There are many cultural events available to attend in our city and surrounding cities, thanks in part to Nancy Backus for those in Auburn.

This brings me to the voting for Auburn Mayor. Although I don’t know Nancy Backus personally, I do see what she has done for Auburn and what she continues to do to make Auburn the kind of community for everyone.

After realizing all that Nancy Backus has accomplished, I think you will agree that she is the best choice for Auburn.

Let your voice be heard and vote.

Do we need one more tax? No.

Do we need Nancy Backus a mayor for all people and agencies? Yes.
