Vote Backus for mayor

When considering and comparing candidates for mayor of our wonderful city, there has to be thought given to the strengths of a person in terms of human skills, technical and conceptual skills. Nancy Backus has those skills.

These skills are necessary to being a successful leader. Nancy Backus has displayed these skills while serving Auburn as a council person. And, importantly, she has displayed them in the many community activities she has been a part of beyond her service as a council member.

The mechanics of operating our city are in place. We need someone with the experience and people skills ability to keep us going in the direction that benefits all of us. Our leader represents each of us as citizens. Nancy Backus, with her skills, along with her creditability and integrity, possesses the qualities that I feel good about.
