Tickets now on sale to Motorsport Mayhem at Spring Fair in Puyallup

Motorsport Mayhemwill bring loads of auto action to the Puyallup Spring Fair on April 20-22. Tickets go on sale today for the Monster Truck Show on Friday, April 20 at 7:30 p.m.; Slamfest Truck Demolition Derby on Saturday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m., and Slamfest Big Cars Demo Derby on Sunday, April 22 at 2 p.m.

Tickets go on sale today for the Monster Truck Show on Friday, April 20 at 7:30 p.m.; Slamfest Truck Demolition Derby on Saturday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m., and Slamfest Big Cars Demo Derby on Sunday, April 22 at 2 p.m.

The finale to Saturday’s demo derby features a fireworks show.

These are separate ticketed events, with tickets going on sale starting today for all three events. Advance purchase tickets include Spring Fair admission, a $9 value, and are available through April 19. All seats are reserved, and the grandstand opens one hour prior to show time. Each event is held rain or shine.

Tickets also are sold by phone (1-888-559-3247), daily, 8 a.m.-8 p.m.; or at the box office at the Puyallup Fair & Events Center (9th Avenue Southwest and Meridian Street) on Saturdays, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. or Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Monster Truck Show

The Monster Truck Show on Friday night is produced by WGAS Motorsports. Featured trucks and drivers include Bounty Hunter (Jimmy Creten); Iron Outlaw (Russell Steeley); Captain USA (Jeff Bainter) – local truck from Cle Elem; Time Fly’s (Kelvin Ramer); Fired Up (Justin Cluster) and Mirror Image.

There will be a free Pit Party on Friday from 4-6 p.m., where guests can see the trucks up close and meet the drivers.

Kids of all ages can enjoy taking a ride on a tricked-out truck on Friday from 2-6 p.m., and Saturday, April 21 from noon-4 p.m. for $7 per ride.

Slamfest Demolition Derby

The Slamfest Demolition Derby is produced by Evergreen Speedway/High Road Promotions. The Saturday evening derby features trucks, followed by a huge fireworks show. Sunday’s Demo Derby is dedicated to big cars. Both derbies include Figure 8s, the rollover contest and Slamfest (the last car standing wins).

The Spring Fair in Puyallup offers fun for all ages and interests, including free entertainment, DockDogs, Swifty Swine Pig Races presented by State Roofing, Timberworks Lumberjack Show presented by Famous Dave’s, Fiesta Mexicana, the Northwest Junior Livestock Show and Sale, NW Junior Rodeo, and much more. Fiesta Mexicana is a four-day Latino celebration, presented by the Jalisco Group, La GranD 99.3 FM and Latino 1210 AM. A food drive for the Puyallup Food Bank will be held on Thursday from 2-10 p.m., where kids can take advantage of the BECU Free kids gate admission for ages 0-18 years.

Purchase advance Fair gate tickets at thefair.com, or from participating Fred Meyer stores, Safeway stores, and South Hill Mall starting on March 26. Advance tickets are $7.50 (adults), and $5.50 (students 6-18 years). A coupon is included with the discount tickets at those locations, which offers six rides/games for $16 (excludes Extreme Scream and Roller Coaster).

Adult gate tickets are $9 at the gate, and students (6-18 years) are $7 at the gate. Children 5 years and under are free. Parking is free. Hours are Thursday (April 14) from 2-10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday (April 15-16) 10 a.m.-10 p.m.; and Sunday (April 17) from 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
