Auburn police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Aug. 13 and Aug. 17:

Aug. 13

Theft of vehicle parts: 4:55 p.m., 2604 Auburn Way N. Somebody damaged and stole vehicle parts.

Misdemeanor vandalism: Overnight, 1005 37th St. SE. Someone broke a window at an elementary school.

Aug. 14

Shots fired: 1:50 a.m., 200 16th St. SE. A drive-by shooting went down.

Bicycle thievery: Overnight, 200 block of 10th Place Southeast. A woman called police to report that someone had removed both tires on her bicycle and scuttled off with them.

Misdemeanor vandalism: 10:19 a.m., 4438 Joyce Court SE. Somebody or several somebodies vandalized a home under construction, damaging a door handle.

Theft: 6:45 p.m., 1604 15th St. SW. Police busted a guy for stealing someone’s wallet.

Assault: 7:16 p.m., 101 Auburn Way S. In an unexplained spasm of contemporary American bathroom violence, two females, ages undisclosed, got into it in the Safeway potty.

Aug. 15

Bogus bucks: 1 p.m., 1307 Auburn Way N. Somebody pawned off a bogus bill on an Auburn business.

Trespassing: 7:29 p.m., 4310 A St. SE. Auto Zone gave a misbehaving man and woman the boot until Earth has revolved around the sun five times.

Aug. 17

Misdemeanor vandalism: Overnight, 4017 A St. SE. Somebody picked up a chunk of cement and shattered the glass front door of a business.

Theft: 5:29 a.m., 2000 block of 62nd Loop Southeast. Someone tried to swipe an air conditioner.
