4Culture staff welcomes public discussion at Zola’s Café

Session set for May 15

4Culture, the cultural funding agency for King County, is offering office hours in Auburn to chat with residents about the its various programs as well as its support for art in the community.

On Tuesday, May 15, 4Culture staff will be at Zola’s Café, 402 E Main St., Suite 120, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. They want to hear your questions, ideas, frustrations and plans

The event is part of 4Culture’s outreach program that was launched last year to hold office hours in towns throughout King County.

“Through its mission, 4Culture aims to preserve our shared heritage by placing art and culture at the center of our civic endeavors,” said King County Council member Pete von Reichbauer, who represents the Auburn area. “By promoting access to the arts, 4Culture helps our region maintain its status as a vibrant community.”

4Culture works to ensure access to cultural experiences for all, from museum collections to theater productions to artists showing work in galleries. The agency provides grants focusing on four program areas – arts, heritage, historic preservation and public art.
