Auburn Police blotter | April 6

Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between March 27 and April 2:

March 27

Assault with firearm: 12:43 p.m., 900 block of 15th Street Southwest. Someone took up a firearm and assaulted someone else in a manner undisclosed.

DUI alcohol or drugs: 12:24 a.m., 11000 block of Southeast 320th Street. Police arrested a 19-year-old woman for driving under the influence of something that was just then sloshing about in her system, causing havoc.

March 31

Vandalism: Overnight, 800 block of 45th Street Northeast.Somebody broke the passenger side window of a U-Haul truck

Weapons offense: 1:05 p.m., 700 block of Auburn Way S. Police arrested a man for having a confirmed stolen firearm.

Bogus Ben: 2:30 p.m., 4010 A St. SE. Someone tried to buy chicken and a coffee from Albertsons using a fake $100 bill.

April 2

Burglary: Overnight, 503 C St. SW. A burglar or a bevy of burglars barged onto a building site and bolted with undisclosed items.

Burglary: 7:45 a.m., 1619 Auburn Way N. Staff at CarHop Auto Sales called to report a forced-entry, commercial burglary over the weekend.

Burglary: 6:45 a.m., 740 Clay St. NW. Burglars hit the yard at Industrial Bolt and swiped the company’s automatic gate system.

Weapons offense: 9:14 a.m., 501 Oravetz Road SE. Police arrested a student at Auburn Riverside High School for having a weapon on campus.

Robbery: 12:20 p.m., 101 Auburn Way S. In the process of trying to steal more than $1,500 worth of stuff from Safeway, a woman assaulted an employee. When bike officers arrested the woman, they found methamphetamines on her person.
