Auburn Police blotter | March 22

Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between March 14 and 20:

March 13

Traffic offense: 7:42 a.m., 800 17th St. SE. After police stopped a guy for speeding in a school zone, they found him woefully wanting in a driver’s license or other any identification.

Theft: 12:15 p.m., 12401 SE 320th St. Somebody stole someone else’s backpack at Green River College.

Harassment: 1:10 p.m., 1000 block of 24th Street Northeast. Police arrested a known juvenile gang member for harassing somebody.

Theft: 12 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. Somebody swiped parts from a travel trailer.

Scarf and scram: 1:50 p.m., 1044 Outlet Collection Way. Four people gulped and guzzled undisclosed foodstuffs and then galumpfed into the early afternoon without having paid their restaurant bill.

March 14

Assault: 7:30 p.m., 23 A St. SW. Police investigated an assault at the Sounder Station.

Theft: 5:07 p.m., 5100 block of D Street Northwest. A business reported the theft of a printer and a barbecue grill.

March 15

Assault: 6:01 a.m., 2102 Auburn Way N. Police busted a woman for an act of domestic violence.

Assault: 11:26 p.m., 1111 4th St. NE. Police busted a man for assault and for exposing little kids to domestic violence.

March 16

Trespassing, and other things: 2:42 p.m., 400 block of 25th Street Southeast. Police arrested a guy for trespassing and for having auto theft tools upon his person. What’s more, police also found a loaded firearm under a truck.

Trespassing: 6:23 p.m., 101 Auburn Way S. A man’s mid-morning spasm of undisclosed disorderly conduct earned him a hasty expulsion from Safeway.

Stolen property: 2:53 p.m., 1425 Outlet Collection Way SW. For trafficking in stolen property did Auburn Police arrest a man.

DUI alcohol or drugs: 7:40 p.m., 32000 block of 46th Place South. A dude with some sort of intoxicating substance sloshing about in his stomach rolled his vehicle onto its roof then tried to hide behind a tree, ah, but sharp-eyed police caught up with and busted him.

Assault: 9:11 p.m., 2800 block of Auburn Way South. Police slapped the cuffs on a man for assaulting the mother of his children.

March 17

Vandalism: 8:54 p.m., 500 block of 8th Street Northeast. Swinging a golf club at one of the windows of a man’s vehicle, somebody shattered it.

March 18

Agency assist: 6 a.m., 340 E. Main St. Auburn officers assigned to the Valley SWAT helped it serve three search warrants.

Theft from vehicle: 6:03 p.m., 101 10th St. NE. While a woman was picking up her kid from daycare, someone broke into her vehicle and stole stuff.

March 19

Property theft: 12:15 a.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. A woman left her wallet at a slot machine at the Muckleshoot Casino, whereupon somebody pounced on it, and then tried to use a credit card inside.
