May 2

Vandalism: Midnight, 3700 block of A Street Southeast. A man told police that someone had slashed a tire on his vehicle, adding that suspicions fell on the ex-girlfriend.

May 4

Theft: 7:42 a.m., 1800 block of 22nd Way Northeast. Somebody unknown entered a vehicle and swiped a GPS Unit.

And stay out!: 7:37 a.m., 604 E. Main St. Having committed undisclosed annoying acts, two boys earned themselves a six-year-long no-come-back from Auburn Vision.

Disorderly conduct: 9:37 a.m., 500 Auburn Way S. Police arrested a transient for aggressive begging from motorists, despite no-nonsense warnings directed his way several days earlier.

Trespassing: A male known for being a big pain in the head got the order to get out of Ferrell Gas and stay out.

Disorderly conduct: 2:42 p.m., 1000 block of 18th Street Northeast. A man hurled racial slurs at a woman as she walked by. Police later arrested the foul-mouthed fellow for disorderly conduct.

Felony eluding: 11:24 p.m., 29000 block of 124th Avenue Southeast. A vehicle recently involved in a Kent Police Department pursuit was located in Auburn, where its driver continued to drive it erratically. Police began a pursuit. Said pursuit lasted 0.8 miles, ending with the driver running away on foot. Police tried to track the driver with dogs, but he or she got away. The vehicle was impounded to be processed for prints.

May 5

Arson: 4:48 p.m., 620 37th St. SE. Unknown bad guys set fire to a Dumpster behind Mt. Baker Middle School, destroying said Dumpster. No one was injured. The Valley Regional Fire Authority is investigating.

Condom caper: 4:57 p.m., 1702 Auburn Way N. Police arrested two girls for stealing a 12-pack of condoms from Top Food and Drug.

Theft from building: 8:50 p.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. A woman left her wallet on a gaming machine at the Muckleshoot Casino, whereupon another woman happened by, took the wallet and disappeared.

May 6

Burglary: Overnight, 221 H St. NW. Somebody, or several somebodies, took an undisclosed amount of copper wire and gasoline from Commercial Crate & Box.

Weapon: 9 a.m., 800 block of 4th Street Northeast. Auburn High School authorities suspended a student from school for possessing metal knuckles. Prosecutors are charging the youth for having metal knuckles at school.

Vandalism: 8:21 p.m., 3600 block of Juniper Lane Southeast. A guy punctured the tires of a vehicle by unknown means, then fled the area on foot.
