May 5

Theft: 4:30 p.m., 2704 I St. NE. Into Auburn Valley Cities’ Resource room this day came a tall, thin woman with long black hair who was dressed in a gray sweater and black leggings. While the woman declined help, she stayed for a time to look around. Later, an employee discovered items were missing.

May 8

Burglary: Overnight, 8 16th St. NW. Burglars forced open the doors of several rental units at Public Storage then set to stealing things.

Burglary: Overnight, 4910 A St. SE. Police investigated a shed burglary.

Theft: 2100 block of Auburn Way South. When a woman realized that another patron at the Muckleshoot Bingo Hall had walked away with her wallet, she rang police.

Theft: 9:56 p.m., 100 block of N Street Southeast. Somebody pocketed another person’s phone and knife.

May 9

Armed chain store robbery: 5:40 a.m., 762 Outlet Collection Drive SW. A robber trying to swipe merchandise from Walmart sprayed a loss prevention officer with pepper spray.

Postal theft: 8 a.m., 3501 Auburn Way S. Somebody broke into a mailbox cluster at a mobile home park and stole numerous pieces of mail.

Trespassing: 3:34 p.m., 1436 Auburn Way S. Starbucks told a misbehaving aficionado of the java bean to exit himself.

May 13

Theft: 5:45 p.m., 1400 block of 17th Street Southeast. Somebody stole a fellow’s $250 Sony gaming console, and it turned up mere hours later at the Trader McGee pawn store.
