Sept. 17

Burglary: Overnight, 501 30th St. NE. Somebody unknown broke into an undisclosed building and swiped various undisclosed items worth undisclosed amounts.

Sept. 20

Vandalism: 6 a.m., 620 37TH St. SE. Somebody broke a window to a portable classroom at Mt. Baker Middle School over the weekend. Police did not disclose the cost of the damage.

Auto theft: 7 a.m., 100 block of M Street North. Somebody stole a silver 2005 Hyundai Elantra 4-door from the driveway of a home. Police did not disclose a value for the vehicle.

Teen misbehaving: 11:30 a.m., 124th Avenue Southeast. Police arrested a boy for some undisclosed act of disorderly conduct, then released the wayward youth to his parent.

Theft from motor vehicle: 2:03 p.m., 12400 block of Southeast 320th Street. Police arrested a man for residential burglary, attempted theft of a motor vehicle and second-degree theft after he went on a crime spree at Green River Community College.

Vandalism: Overnight, 5800 block of South 296th Place. The mother and father of a 13-year-old arrested youth said that their offspring won’t stop acting in a violent manner, disobeying family rules and wreaking untold damage on their property.

Sept. 21

Theft from motor vehicle: 6:33 a.m., 2600 block of 65th Street Southeast. Somebody smashed the window of a vehicle, got in then swiped a wallet containing debit cards, credit cards and a driver’s license from the passenger seat.

Theft: Overnight, 3000 I St. NE. Northwest Asphalt reported that thieves had swiped several sewer manhole lids. Police did not disclose a value for the missing manholes.

More theft: 10:40 a.m., 201 A St. SE. Some thieving so and so stole a newspaper vending machine.

Vandalism: 4 p.m., 5700 block of Olive Avenue Southeast. Somebody used ketchup to smear swastikas on the hood and back window of a vehicle. The physical damage was not permanent.
