Auburn School District high school athletic programs had nine top 10 finishes in the WIAA/Washington Army National Guard Scholastic Cup during the 2013-14 school year.

The cup recognizes performance in the classroom and on the playing surface. Schools that finish at the top of their respective classifications in state athletic competition receive points, as do schools that finish at the top in team academic performance.

Sportsmanship also is a factor, with substantial points deducted for ejections from contests.

At the end of the year, the school with the most points in their classification is awarded the prestigious Scholastic Cup.

Auburn Mountainview:

Girls Basketball, fourth place
Gymnastics, sixth
Cheer, seventh
Boys Swimming, eighth
Boys tennis, sixth

Auburn Riverside:

Girls tennis, second
Boys basketball, third
Boys cross country, eighth

Auburn:

Girls tennis, eighth
