Auditions for ‘The Sound of Music’ are today, Friday

Auditions for the Auburn Community Players' production of "The Sound of Music" are Thursday and Friday, from 5 to 10 p.m., at the Children's Dance Theater 122 W Main St, Auburn.

Auditions for the Auburn Community Players’ production of “The Sound of Music” are Thursday and Friday, from 5 to 10 p.m., at the Children’s Dance Theater 122 W Main St, Auburn.

Candidates are asked to attend only one session.

The theater opens at 4:30 p.m. to allow time to fill out audition paperwork.

Auditioners are asked to come prepared with a resume, current head shot/picture, 16-32 bars of a musical theater song. Please bring sheet music in correct key. A accompanist is provided. There is no a capella.

Show dates are 7:30 p.m. Oct. 3-4, 10-11, 17-18 and 2 p.m. Oct. 5, 12, 19.
