Auburn welcomes Seattle Parrot Expo

Jasper DiSalvo, 6, looks at a parrot during the Seattle Parrot Expo at the Auburn Community & Event Center last weekend. The two-day expo presented a variety of exhibitions, a petting zoo, a walk-through aviary, parrot tales, a story room, games, speakers and workshops.

Proceeds benefited the Flight Club Foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on improving parrot welfare and supporting conservation and research.
