Classic chrome and mighty machines return

Solid Rock Cruisers host Summer Cruise-in Thursday, June 20 at former Big Daddy’s site

Classic car enthusiasts are invited to take in the Summer Cruise-in at 4 p.m. Thursday, June 20 at the former Big Daddy’s site next to Les Gove Park, 1140 Auburn Way S., and near the corner of 12th Street SE and Auburn Way S.

The show, coordinated by the Solid Rock Cruisers, runs until 7:30 p.m.

Other dates are set for July 18, Aug. 15 and, if needed in the event of rain, Sept. 19.

The free event includes music, classic and hot rod cars and food (available for purchase).

Solid Rock Cruisers is accepting non-perishable donations for the Auburn Food Bank.

Car show participants must enter the event site from 12th Street SE and J Street SE.
