Between June 7 and June 13, the Valley Regional Fire Authority responded to 242 calls for service, among them the following:

June 7

Accident: 4:14 p.m. (Auburn). Firefighters responding to a two-car rollover accident on Auburn Way arrived to find all occupants out of the cars and uninjured. Personnel transported one man to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC) for further evaluation based on the severity of the accident.

June 8

Aid call: 9:25 a.m. (Auburn). Firefighters and King County Medic One evaluated an Auburn senior citizen who was displaying stroke-like symptoms, and a private ambulance transported him to MAMC.

June 9

Aid call: 5:36 p.m. (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters and medics treated a woman who had overdosed on prescription medication, and then transported her to MAMC.

June 10

Accident: 11:22 p.m. (Pacific). Firefighters, King County Medics, Washington State Patrol and neighboring agencies responded to a one-vehicle rollover accident with heavy damage. Personnel treated one man and then transported him with severe injuries to St. Joseph’s Medical Center.

June 12

Commercial fire: 8:59 a.m. (Auburn). Firefighters responded to reports of a construction lift that was on fire inside a warehouse with the lift operator stuck at the top. Firefighters onfirmed the operator was not in the lift and found a fully-involved articulating lift about 300 feet inside the warehouse. Firefighters extinguished the fire and opened about 40 skylights on the roof to clear the smoke. VRFA fire investigators are investigating.

June 13

Aid call: 9:24 a.m. (Auburn). Firefighters evaluated an Auburn senior citizen who was complaining of chest pain, and a VRFA aid car transported him to MAMC.
