Fire destroys residence in Auburn’s White River Estates

A fire destroyed a residence in the White River Estates mobile home park this morning. The male resident was not at home at the time of the fire.

Valley Regional Fire Authority firefighters responded to a report of flames showing from a residence in the mobile home park at 4248 A St. SE just after 2 a.m. First arriving crews kept the fire from spreading to a residence next door.

Firefighters remained on scene over night to perform overhaul and assist with the investigation.

The the Red Cross is assisting the displaced resident.

There were no reported injuries to firefighters or civilians.

The investigation is ongoing and a cause has not yet been determined.
